Xfm 95.1 and BusyInternet kicks off Goodwill Promotion Xfm 95.1, an Accra based radio station, and BusyInternet, Ghana’s leading ISP, have announced the launch of a joint “Goodwill Promotion” to give away hundreds of goodies comprising bicycles, sewing machines, T-shirts and hours of free Internet browsing to members of the public as a sign of goodwill. According to a Director of Xfm 95.1, Mr. Herbert Mensah, the promotion is designed to light up the life of some people in Ghana over the festive season. “The world has gone through a difficult period and many ordinary people are feeling the crunch. If we could we would have liked to give something to every Ghanaian, but at least we can put a smile on some people’s faces.” he said. Xfm 95.1 managed to acquire more than a hundred bicycles and sewing machines as well as a few thousand T-shirts to give out over the festive season in conjunction with “Goodwill Partners”. “When we were offered to partner with Xfm 95.1 in this venture, we had no hesitation to do so.” said Mr. Komla Dzunu, Marketing Consultant of BusyInternet. He said “BusyInternet led the Internet revolution in Ghana, and we are proud to also lead in this wonderful gesture to give something back to the community.” The Xfm 95.1 – BusyInternet Goodwill Promotion will run from Monday the 14th of December till Monday the 4th of January. On every consecutive weekday some lucky Ghanaians will stand the chance to win a bicycle, a sewing machine, two of twenty T-Shirts from both Xfm 95.1 and BusyInternet and one of twelve two hours of free Internet browsing time at any of BusyInternet’s Centers in Accra or Tema. Xfm 95.1 will broadcast the promotion on their network, and to stand a chance to win any of the prizes, listeners are required to TXT the answer to an easy question to the Xfm 95.1 short code 1466. Every second day twelve winners will be drawn by BusyInternet and on selected days the winning numbers will be drawn from a hat at BusyInternet’s Ring Road Central Center in Accra.
